Luís Maria Brazão Peixoto e Bourbon
Graduated in Food Science and Technology, an Enology branch in 2008 and is currently taking a master's degree in Enology and Viticulture at the University of Évora. He had internships in various wine cellars of Alentejo, like the Sociedade Vitivinícola d´Os Lusíadas and Joaquim Manuel Cabaço e Cabaço.
Was also responsible for several projects such as in the wineries of Herdade Paço de Camões and recently, Herdade da Madeira Velha Agro Alimentar, of which is currently managing partner.
In 2008 he started his journey in the Quinta de São José de Peramanca. Passionate about enology and a firm believer in the old maxim that the wine begins in the vineyard. So he gives particular attention to one of the most intense parts of a winemaker job - harvesting and the vinification of grapes.
